How to Triple Your Fat Loss For Your Figure Competition
You've seen those figure competitions and figure competitors, how they look absolutely magnification and appear virtually flawless. You sit back and wonder how they can eat and workout in such a way to magically strip the fat right off their body; while at the same time keeps all their hard-earned lean muscle mass.
It doesn't have to be a mystery any longer. You see, in this short article I'm going to spill the beans on how you can triple your fat loss for your figure competition.
Tip #1 - Cheat on your diet
Every, and I mean every successful figure competitor cheats on her diet. However, how she cheats is the secret ticket. You see, eating the same diet calories and macros day in and day out programs your body what to expect each day. Eventually, your body will stop responding to your low-calorie or low-carb diet because it knows what it will receive food-wise. Therefore, by choosing one day a week and cheating, you throw your metabolism into overdrive, forcing your body to not double, but triple your fat loss for your figure competition.
Tip #2 - Take a re-feed day
Nearly every figure competitor lowers her carbs for her contest to reduce body fat. Low-carbs don't provide much energy for high-powered training and high intensity cardio sessions. After about 4 days on low carbs, your body will begin to feel weak and tired. A quick and simple remedy is to throw in a re-feed day. A re-feed day is a day that you eat the same foods, just more calories and more carbs. This allows your body to reenergize and to virtually triple your fat loss for your figure competition.
Tip #3 - Engage in high-intensity interval training
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is one of the BEST forms of cardio to shed body fat. High-intensity interval training is a form of cardio where you vary the intensity consistently and often, keeping your body off guard. An easy starting method is the 2:2 ratio. To implement this, start your cardio off at 2 minutes of low intensity and then hit 2 minutes of high intensity. Keeping this back and forth method going will shock your body to the point you can triple your fat loss for your figure competition.
